Watch the ultimate Doctor Who sonic screwdriver supercut!
How has the Doctor used his Sonic Screwdriver through space and time? The Doctor’s sonic screwdriver was first introduced in the 1968 Doctor Who
episode “Fury from the Deep” and it’s been used for decades. It’s been the ultimate weapon against
evil in the universe for decades. At first
it was just a screwdriver, but now it can do absolutely everything.
If you’re a Doctor Who fan,
then
you love the sonic screwdriver. You can buy sonic screwdriver pens, sonic screwdriver TV remotes, sonic screwdriver toothbrushes and you can even make a sonic screwdriver drink. The sonic is cool.
The 50th Anniversary special of Doctor
Who, called “Day of the Doctor,”
is this weekend. To celebrate,
I’ve made a supercut of the Doctor using his trusty sonic screwdriver.
It’s a collection of clips of the Doctor and his companions using the
sonic. You won’t find a more comprehensive collection of clips anywhere else. It covers every Doctor and dozens of episodes.
Check it out and let us know what you think.
Thanks to the Doctors Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith.
The “Doctor Who Theme” was originally composed by Ron Grainer and
realised by Delia Derbyshire at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The
arrangement in the video is by Murray Gold. Thanks to BBC for 50 great
years of Doctor Who!
